Volunteers from God
frontline ministry - ukraine
Why we do what we do:
5 in the morning, sounds of bombing, packed backpacks, evacuating, and hoping your friends are alive. This is what it was like for our missionaries in Ukraine when the invasion began in February 2022. But even amidst a devastating war, God is moving!
Partnering with Bethel Global Response, we and our missionarries embarked on an adventure of bringing the gospel to dangerous areas of the war in Ukraine. The gospel is not just, words of the good news. The gospel IS good news in itself, as we allow Jesus to bring light to this world theough us not just through our words but through radical action.
What started as a desire to help those in need is now a full on ministry that not only helps those in dangerous areas near the frontlines, but also brings the gospel to those who may never get another chance to experience Jesus. Seeing people healed is a normal part of these trips.
War is a devastating thing, but we believe that God has called us to be a light in the darkness. And even though the stories of poeple dying are many, storries of how we have seen healings, redemption, and people safely evacuated from life threatening situations are also very many. The team on the ground does not do this for themselves, but for those poeple God has called them to love, in this radcialy dangesrous way by going where no one else will.
WHAT WE DO
Evacuation of people from hot spots. Humanitarian aid: delivery of food and water to hard-to-reach places on the front line.
DELIVERY
Our team delivers our own localy baked bread, fresh drinking water, and food cooked at our base. It is delivered weekly to muliple locations.
OUR HEART
Sharing the gospel is a big part of what we do, giving them what they need for their body and soul but also for their Spirit. Praying for the sick and sharing God's word is an important part of each trip made.
EVACUATION
Where help is neded, we are there. Even in dangerous situations, our team is hands on to evactuat both soldiers and civilians out of danger. the evacuated civilians are then invoted our base for a place to stay before they move further east away from the fighting.
YOUR PART
While we are here with our hands and feet, you can be a part of God's kingdom expandng, despite the devestating war, by supporting us financially.
Your support allows us to do more, bring more, and also supports the team that is constantly risking its life.
Storries from the frontlines:
God's Presence
“My fingers felt numb, and painful as i played guitar and sang a couple songs, but in the middle of the cold, you could see the Spirit of God touching people, by the look on their faces”
